Where does all my weight loss medication come from?

Wegovy, Ozempic and Saxenda are products of Novo Nordisk. They are stored in line with cold-chain requirements at our pharmacy and is dispensed to you directly from the pharmacy.

Why do we need your number?

This is for 2 reasons. Firstly, it may be necessary to contact you if you suddenly change your delivery location and we need extra confirmation. If we contact you by phone, it minimizes any delay to your order and is one of the quickest ways to overcome any issue. Secondly, if you wish to receive updates on newly arrived products and prefer to be updated via sms. Therefore by providing your mobile number, you will be able to utilize this service.

I have received a faulty product?

If you have received a faulty product/pen or if it becomes faulty (for example, the pen fails to release any liquid) then contact us as soon as you realise it. You will be asked to return the pen to the pharmacy using recorded/tracked delivery with a description of the fault. A case will be opened with the manufacturer for investigation and the faulty product will be sent them for investigation. If confirmed faulty, the device will be replaced free of charge. Please note that process can take between 3-6 weeks for completion. Any faulty pens have to be reported within 30 days of receiving your order. After this time we will be unable to replace any faulty pens. If any pens are found to be in working order then they will either be disposed of or returned back to you. Please note that given due to the products being a medicine and a medical device, we will not be able to issue a refund or replacement until the products have been confirmed faulty by the manufacturers and a replacement issued by them.

How is my order delivered to me?

All weight loss injections and medication are dispensed directly from our pharmacies in accordance with cold-chain transportation. It is packed by a dispenser in discreet packaging using the correct insulated materials and ice gel backs to ensure it reaches you at the correct temperature range. It is shipped to your given address using a tracked service for next-day delivery. Please ensure someone is at the address to receive the medication.

I have not received my order?

Due to cold-chain requirements, orders once approved, are dispatched between Monday to Thursday by next-day delivery. For example, if you have placed an order on Tuesday morning you may receive it the following day. If however you have placed an order on Thursday afternoon then we may not dispatch it until the Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

How do I store Saxenda?

Every unopened Saxenda pen needs to be stored in the fridge (between 2-8°C). Make sure it is not kept at the back of the fridge or near the freezer compartment where it can freeze. If frozen, it needs to be discarded. It can be kept outside the fridge for up to 30 days, as long as the temperature does not exceed 30°C (e.g. when opened and in use).

Is the Packaging discreet?

Yes, we only use plain, discreet packaging without any branding or labels.

Is the service confidential?

Your medical data and order history is completely confidential and will only be viewable by our pharmacy staff and prescribers.

Will I receive a tracking number?

You should receive your tracking number by email automatically, once Royal Mail/DPD have collected your order for delivery.

This is usually around 6PM.

You should check your junk mail if you have not received this. If you don’t receive the email, please let us know, and we will get this for you manually.

Do I need to sign for my delivery

Next-day Delivery: All next-day delivery prescription medication requires a signature on receipt of delivery

Standard Delivery: A signature is not required for orders sent standard delivery. If Royal Mail is unable to deliver your order, they will attempt to leave this in your assigned Safe Place where applicable, or with a neighbour.

If Royal Mail/DPD is unable to deliver your order, it will be returned to your local delivery depot and held for a short period of time. You should be left a card, or updated online with the tracking reference number. If it is not collected within this time frame, this will be returned to Simple Pharmacy Online . once it has been returned, you may be charged for any additional redelivery costs.

Can I put my local Post Office as my delivery address?

No.

Post offices will return packages sent directly to them, and this will incur a £10 redelivery charge.
