Rybelsus UK
Rybelsus UK is a brand-name prescription medication that’s FDA-approved to treat type 2 diabetes. The drug helps control blood sugar in adults when used with diet and exercise. Type 2 diabetes is a condition in which your blood sugar level becomes too high due to problems with a hormone called insulin.
Rybelsus hasn’t been studied in people who have had a pancreas problem known as pancreatitis. So if you have had this condition, your doctor may recommend a different diabetes medication. Rybelsus Semaglutide contains one active ingredient: semaglutide. Rybelsus belongs to a group of medications called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists.
This medication comes as a tablet that you swallow orally. It’s available in three strengths: 3 mg, 7 mg, and 14 mg. You’ll take Rybelsus once a day after meal orally. Under no circumstances should you adjust your dosage without consulting with your healthcare provider, pharmacist or doctor. The maximum recommended daily dose is 14mg, and if you have taken more than the prescribed amount, you should contact your doctor immediately.
How do I Take Rybelsus (Semaglutide)?
Rybelsus tablets are taken once daily. They can be taken at any time of day, though should be taken on an empty stomach, ideally first thing in the morning and at least 30 minutes before any food or drink. Eating immediately after taking Rybelsus Semaglutide can decrease the effectiveness of the medication.
Rybelsus tablets should be taken whole with a small glass of water. Crushing, splitting, or chewing the tablets will reduce absorption of the medication and can lead to decreased effectiveness.
If you miss a dose, simply skip it and take the next dose as you would the following morning. Do not attempt to modify your dosages or stop taking Rybelsus Semaglutide without consulting a doctor, pharmacist or healthcare professional first.
